How
has the magazine been going since talking at SP:
When i was talking at SP, i think i was still artdirecting all
issues by myself. Since issue #50 i have been working with guest
artdirectors with mostly all the issue since then.
We had StudioAnti, Floor 5, A.B.A.K.E., Matt Irving & Don
Pendelton and Mirko Borsche and Thomas Kartolis from GOMMA directing
sofar.
At first i wanted to step back totally, but as this idea passed
a bit, i could resist to do some by myself again. I think the
Graphic Designer is deeply rooted in me and its still so much
fun to deal with superb content (big ups for my team here).
The Magazine runs well but less prosper, it is still an independent
joint and not a goldmine.
Any plans
to stop?
no.
How has running
the magazine changed?
i have a bit more time for other projects.
Have you been
doing much personal work? Anything other that graphic design?
I set up a new publishing called Unagi Books, where i want
to release small but conceptual books by my friends and works
of people i admire, Syd Mead or Raymond Pettibone for Example.
The first release is my Traphic project (see release). |
