What
have you been doing since speaking at SP?
A lot! I’ve been very focused on team effort projects and creating
art that caters towards the developing world of viral media.
I’m personally contributing to this by building a company workshop
full of creatives that can organize and execute almost any artistic
endeavor. It’s very inspiring.
What would
you say is the most significant moment of your career to
this date?
Having my mother live through a series of open-heart surgeries
while still maintaining a sharp sense of humor. She’s inspiring,
and the experience is allowing me to approach new work in
a new and refreshing light.
Client work
or personal work?
Client work has been great. I recently shot the new cover
story of Emily Blunt and that was a lot of fun. We also did
T.I’s album packaging, which was a great experience.
My new book excites me a lot, I feel like it’s the best thing
I’ve done. I’m in a very peaceful place right now, and my
new book is very reflective of my new perspective on life.
Have you been
directing of late?
August 1st I’m shooting a music video for Universal Music,
which I’m looking very forward to.
I am up to direct a couple upcoming films, its really just
about timing it inside what I’m doing.
Favorite part
about living in LA?
The weather, the ocean, and prices per square foot. |
