What have you been up to since talking at SP?
After my talk at Semi Perm I had to jump on a plane to Ballina for a wedding I was photographing. I was on a high after the talk which was short lived as I arrived at Ballina and met up with my ride, a bunch of people for the wedding and I quickly realised I had to finish digesting my recent talk, take the back seat and be present for some else's big occasion.

I promised myself that I wouldn't start any new projects this year, 2007. 2005 and 2006 and pretty much my life has been run to an exhausting deadline. Full of the pressure and anxiety and freneticness that goes with it as well as the joys of accomplishment and creative satisfaction. As a girlfriend recently said of 'Peace Love and Brown Rice' you could put your feet up if you wanted to and not ever have to do a project like that again because it's been such an ongoing success.

So 2007 revealed itself to be the year of finishing off what I had started, completing projects namely 'Peace Love and Brown Rice' aswell as personal photo albums for friends and family that were begun and not finished, getting my business affairs in order, filing negatives, filling book and print orders, and snapping lots of portrait jobs..maybe it's like getting ready for the next adventure. I certainly feels it's been about getting in the balance back in my programme. This tack has proven to be a winner, it's given me space for new ideas to grow without having to act upon them, looking at exhibitions around me, reading heaps, exploring, taking photos for the love of it, feeding time at the ranch and sleeping a lot and drinking cofe, dvd's, friends. This also included a winter of study, I took a bunch of short courses - Public Speaking, Calligraphy, Graph Design and a workshop in Ceremony and Ritual.

'Peace Love and Brown Rice' is in the hands of an overseas publisher and a distributor.

I spoke at the Sydney Writer's festival on a panel at the Wharf which was another experience in itself for speaking. The weekend after that I did a massive re shuffle of the books and moved storage spaces...and thanks to volunteer's, I had 15 keen beans come for the love and all 10 palleets were moved out west.
I recently  took a road trip up north got the flu for 3 weeks and went to 'Splendour in the Grass' and dropped off a bunch of consignment stock up and down the coast - you can now find my book in Tenterfield, Nundle and Malaney , Noosa and Maroochydore.

I'm off to Mexico in October, the trip will also include nailing 'Peace Love and Brown Rice' overseas.

Life's is a book!

Have you found a love for speaking in front of crowds?
There is great fear in love, so yes you could say I have!

Got any photography secrets?

You shooting the next Big Day Out?
yes and just got the green light to take my assistant Maclay, nice young fella, on the road for a couple of shows.

Do you own any pets?
no
