Winner of the prestigious World Press Photo of the Year Award in 2006, Spencer Platt is a highly respected photo journalist from the United States.

His work on 9/11, and during the 2006 war in Lebanon have shown his exceptional skills and pushed Platt to the forefront of the many talented photo journalists working today. His photo of the second plane hitting the World Trade Center has become an icon of that day, and has been printed in newspapers world wide.

Platt is an exciting addition to the SP08 speaker lineup and we look forward to hearing the stories behind the photos.
