Also, Roman’s stream-of-consciousness video for the Phoenix “Funky Squaredance” track was invited into the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art.
Roman is a founding partner of the Photobubble Company, which markets a newly patented inflatable film enclosure. More details can be viewed at: www.photobubblecompany.com

"If I couldn’t create art, I think I would curl up and die. I have always loved creating and sharing artwork. Image making is my therapy and life fuel!
I’m a self taught artist from a young age. My first exhibitions were in Nan’s kitchen on her fridge. My art practice has changed from a young girl, from drawing realistic horses over and over, to exploring digital art whilst studying graphic design, then back to traditional techniques for my work as a represented commercial illustrator, advocate with Element Eden and my personal fine art work. I’ve been exhibiting in group shows for the past five years with the aim to finally have a solo show.
My personal work, portraits of feminine beauty, has predominantly been created using pastel and colour pencil, this year I am exploring oil painting alongside by previous techniques.
2012 is my first year as a full time artist. Up until now I was creating my art and commercial illustrations part time whilst working as a full time graphic designer. 2012 has also brought about a change of scenery. Originally a country girl, moved to Melbourne for five years and have now made a new home in the Alpine Valley region of Victoria, where I can focus solely on my art and be surrounded and inspired by nature and the simple things in life.
Through my art, I hope to evoke a sensual connection to my subjects while creating an affection for classic beauty, nature and nostalgia." Tweet about this artistShare this on FacebookBec WinnelIllustrator/Artist - Melbourne www.becwinnel.comKelli Anderson is an artist, designer, printmaker, and tinkerer who enjoys the challenge of seeking out hidden possibility in the physical and digital world. With a sensitivity to viewer expectations, she believes that design can subvert the everyday through surreal, absurd experiences. From interactive paper projects to layered, experimental websites to a paper record player, her projects refuse to behave in the expected way.
In 2008, Kelli worked with a large group of collaborators to create a perfectly counterfeited NY Times, which caught bleary-eyed commuters off guard with stories from a progressive utopian future. She recently created a paper record player that garnered major attention from numerous media outlets including Mashable, Kottke, Slashdot, Make:, PCWorld, Wired, and NPR. In both of these instances, Kelli's goal of surprising an audience through the unexpected or absurd is evident. Kelli grew up in New Orleans and moved to NYC to attend graduate school at the Pratt Institute for fine art and art history. In 2010, she left her position at the American Museum of Natural History as a digital collections photographer to focus on independent work. He discovered photography at the age of 11. Harvey purchased a used Leica with savings from his newspaper route and began photographing his family and neighborhood in 1956.
When he was 20 he lived with and documented the lives of a black family living in Norfolk, Virginia, and the resulting book, Tell It Like It Is, was published in 1966. He was named Magazine Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association in 1978.
Harvey went on to shoot over forty essays for National Geographic magazine. He has covered stories around the world, including projects on French teenagers, the Berlin Wall, Maya culture, Vietnam, Native Americans, Mexico and Naples, and a recent feature on Nairobi. He has published two major books, Cuba and Divided Soul, based on his extensive work on the Spanish cultural migration into the Americas, and his book Living Proof (2007) deals with hip-hop culture. His work has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Nikon Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Workshops and seminars are an important part of his life, and Harvey currently writes a very popular online magazine-blog for emerging photographers.
Following a BA in Graphic Design at Kingston University in 2001, Meirion veered into magazines and worked at Redwood publishing and on Harvey Nichols magazine. Sporadic stints followed on Richardson magazine in New York where he became the European Editor.
In 2003, having improved his design and partying skills, Meirion joined Wallpaper* and Tony Chambers’ team who were tasked with the magazine’s re-design.
In 2007 Meirion became Art Director of Wallpaper*. During this time Meirion and his team have continued to push the creative boundaries of print, ensuring that the Wallpaper* name is synonymous with design excellence. He also ensures the Wallpaper* retains it’s identity across the brands many events, products and collaborations. In 2011 Meirion also directed Wallpaper’s (and IPC’s) first monthly iPad editions.

He is one of this regions most renowned and dynamic photographers.
With Derek’s penchant for turning ordinary everyday scenes into mysterious beauty it’s no surprise he continues to work with leading ad agencies and magazines the world over.
Henderson’s varied subject matter is united by an approach marked by a kind of democratic naturalism, where all phenomena is given equal attention. Although variously described as anti-heroic and anti-iconic, Henderson’s interest in the ‘ordinary’ can be deceptive and his narratives often reveal themselves to be more complex and unsteady than they first appear. With our original work rooted in graphic design, fine art, product design, film and music, we eventually decided to combine all these separate disciplines in one medium and started to experiment with Adobe’s Flash technology. Our first self-initiated online project, soulbath.com, garnered worldwide attention, and led to commercial work, most importantly the website for the film Requiem for a Dream by director Darren Aronofsky who we are fortunate to collaborate with to date.
We have since achieved the highest accolades for digital media including D&AD Silver, Cannes Cyberlions, Clios, One Shows, BAFTA and Webby awards. Having established strong relationships with brands such
as Dolce&Gabbana, Jägermeister, Chanel and The Economist together with more than 10 years experience in the business, we have proved we are far from getting bored, keen to push things forward, continue to make information handsome and entertainment systems radical. In 2008, we became part of the Syzygy Group.
We intend to stay small and agile in each studio but can be big with the support of our group if you need us to be. We now have studios in London and New York City and Hamburg.

For just under a decade the intimate and iconic imagery created by Bec Parsons and Bartolomeo Celestino has inspired the realm of fashion photography. Working together since they met in 2005 their partnership has grown and expanded into a union of creativity.
Bec’s photographs are particularly noted for their natural and intimate feel, a raw yet polished style, shooting woman in a quiet yet confident way. In combination with Bart’s knowledge of the latest digital image technologies, they have become the perfect team in a world that values both Bec’s raw eye and Bart’s polished and mechanical approach to capturing that world. Ironically their cult zine LOVEWANT first published in 2009, has re-introduced analogue photography to a new generation who are weary of the overly image saturated world of uber retouched images.
LOVEWANT was born out of a desire to have creative freedom and authorial control over the styles and photographs that we create and publish.
They are regularly featured in eminent fashion and culture magazines Harpers Bazaar, Russh and Oyster magazine, with their commercial client list including the who’s who of Australian fashion, from Collette Dinnigan, Dion Lee, Sportsgirl,General Pants and Ksubi. -----
'My Shadow' is the brand new single from divine Melbourne-based psychedelic/experimental pop act, Planet Love Sound.
Planet Love Sound are comprised of vocalist Tina Stefanou and ex-Dukes of Windsor members Joe Franklin and Oscar Dawson. They are a fully independent Australian band with a powerful sound, and dynamic, chilling live show.
The trio have spent much of the past two years living in their adopted 'second home' of Berlin, Germany, busy self-producing two EPs in amongst supporting many international acts, such as Warpaint, Karen Elson, and Holy F#@k.
They have now returned to Melbourne and “My Shadow” is the second offering from their current EP, the aptly titled “Part 1”. The EP is the first taste for Australian audiences of what this gorgeous three piece have been working on whilst living overseas, and is available from www.planetlovesound.com for purchase as either digital download or 12" vinyl. ‘Part 2’ will be released later in the year. Stay tuned...
Both EPs were recorded and produced by the band themselves, and mixed and mastered in Stockholm, Sweden, by producer Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna, Tehachapi).
The new single 'My Shadow' comprises sweeping theatrical vocals over lo-fi organic electronica, teetering between gothic extravagance and the bittersweet subtlety of the final Moloko record. The single showcases a synergy between psychedelic band elements, hip-hop laced grooves, tribal vocals and synth-based beats. A video will be released for the track soon…
