What's been happening at This is a Magazine?
We've just published our 5th compendium called Who I think I am, another hard-cover book with a couple of hundred pages of original and commissioned works, most of which we cut-up, sliced, folded, scored and just generally messed with. This is the furthest we have taken print production/visuals to date, taking us most of last season (2006/7) to develop and produce. The book has just recently been awarded the Gold Ink Award in New York for Best Hard-cover book world-wide.

Recently we also published the giant folio-sized "Everything will be OK" which included our first full-length DVD, which was described by Varoom The Journal of Illustration and Made Images in the UK as "a publishing phenomenon". When we aren't hiding in our studio we do a lot of travelling for our exhibitions and presentations, which is nice because we are allowed outside and we get to meet people.

Any personal projects of recent times?
Karen ann has completed a year long photographic work which is the result of a collaboration with a local dog-sitter who likes to dress up in historical costumes. Also we produced a music-video for the non-metric underground group Sinistri which was featured in Netmage, and again in Today is OK here in Italy, and then all the way in Perth's PICA, and currently is touring in the australian country districts. Besides the usual commissions we also did some great workshops and conferences in Lithuania, Luxembourg, Lichtenstein (we had a L thing) and did some neat exhibitions in Denmark, Vienna and other places all of them very good.

Where are you based out of these days?
We still have our little studio in Milan, Italy. Please come and visit.

Any interesting upcoming projects?
We have started production on our 6th compendium, which is all smoke and mirrors and other magic tricks.
