The 2015 SP Titles by Emmy-winning Director Raoul Marks

At Semi-Permanent we have always seen title art as an essential part of communicating our message and great way for up-and-coming artists to build a reputation and launch their career in the creative arts. That is why in the past we have commissioned some of the most prominent title designers in the industry to showcase our lineups, including industry heavyweights Danny Yount and MK12. The last two years have seen us feature prominently in the conversation about best title sequences across all creative industries, including film, television and videogame industries, as judged by Art of the Title, the leading online publication for reviewing industry title designs, and in 2015 these titles took second place for Titles of the Year

“If I ever needed inspiration I often looked to what designers were doing with conference titles. The titles that have been produced for Semi Permanent have been some of the most inspiring and beautiful graphics put to film.”

Our biggest achievement to date came in 2015, taking out 2nd place in the Art of the Title’s annual top 10 title sequences ahead of Marvel’s Netflix original series ‘Jessica Jones’. For our 2015 titles we commissioned the brilliant Raoul Marks, whose previous works included True Detective, the MTV VMAs and The Man in the High Castle. Raoul was also one of the standout speakers at Semi Permanent 2015 in Sydney.
