Started in 1998, Design is Kinky is a design/art news portal. The site has a large international audience who visit daily for news and information on design related topics.

Design is Kinky has also branched offline, with projects such as; exhibitions and competitions; lecturing to students and speaking at both Australian and International events; producing products such as books, magazines, toys and clothing; and running our most important and largest project to date, the Semi-Permanent conferences.
