Books In This Economy? (BITES) is an art book publisher who like to help artists turn their practice into a small book that can be sold and distributed in an affordable manner.
BITES often work with visual artists and musicians to publish their work (visual and words) in a way that they would not usually. BITES have published books by 6 different artists since the beginning of 2020. BITES are not very commercial in our operation. In many ways BITES have created this space for people to create books that do not need to be commercially viable (in this economy?!?!). BITES is based in Naarm (Melbourne) and on Djiriganj/Yuin country in Bega NSW.
