Carolien is a Dutch designer (living in Zurich) who works on the ecology of food, with the premise that we should be reducing our meat consumption as well as utilising new sources (waste by-products). She works with butchers to design new sausages (accepting the limits of their existing production methods and expectations) plus collaborates with renowned chefs worldwide to make new exceptional inventions to reduce food wastage.
Semi Permanent will be collaborating on a lunch menu with Carolien and a selection of NZ top Chefs.
