How to redesign National Geographic

How to redesign National Geographic

Godfrey Dadich was born of a collaboration a few years back — Scott Dadich, the Editor in Chief of WIRED, asked Patrick Godfrey the CEO of Godfrey Q, to help redefine the future of the Silicon Valley bible of innovation culture. The project quickly took on a life of its own. It didn’t conform to the typical agency process or result in the traditional advertising deliverables. It didn’t feel like a normal creative cycle at a publication or a brand redesign. Through hundreds of hours of work, they found a new North Star for WIRED, along with a strong friendship, and — unbeknownst to either of them at the time — a roadmap for the firm we would one day open.

In 2018, they'll be on the Semi Permanent Sydney stage sharing insights and learnings from their first year of business, and they'll be inviting some of their special friends to join - one for each of their three sessions. Their first guest for the Thursday 24th session will be Emmet Smith, Creative Director National Geographic. Their guest for Friday 25th is NIKE shoe designer Tinker Hatfield (via live stream). Their Saturday 26th guest is Godfrey Dadich partner and creative director, Allie Fisher (via live stream).
