Bron Thomson is the founder and CEO of Springload, one of New Zealand’s leading digital agencies.
Bron’s experience in design, technology and business strategy spans two decades of New Zealand's tech sector. She started out designing and coding websites as a sole trader, but now leaves that work to her team of 75-plus people.
Springload has worked with some of New Zealand’s leading organisations, including Te Papa, RNZ, Kiwibank, Xero, NZ Festival, Red Cross, and many Government agencies.
Bron has led Springload through a purpose-led transition, becoming a B-Corp in 2019. As a business, Springload focuses on projects that make an impactful difference to society and the planet. She is an innovator and disruptor, preferring to make up her own rules rather than follow the book.
Bron uses human-centred design principles in her leadership approach and is fascinated by behavioural science and how to help people change their behaviours through design and storytelling.
