ACME is a multi-disciplinary design studio that delivers a broad range of creative projects with a focus on spatial psychology, interaction and patron experience.

Established by architect Vince Alafaci and interior designer Caroline Choker, the studio focuses on creating holistic design solutions that respond to each client’s commercial objectives and site-specific needs.

Whilst each commission is individual, the studio adopts consistent principles across all of its projects; exploring the fundamentals of the environment, sustainability, space, proportion, light and materials.

With twenty years in the industry and five years practising as ACME, the studio has extensive professional experience in both small and large-scale projects.

Specialising in the hospitality realm, they have received a host of prestigious accolades including INDE’s inaugural 'The Prodigy’ award, ‘Emerging Design Practice’

by The Design Institute Australia and Interior Design Excellence Awards, and Restaurant & Bar Design Awards for best Australia-Pacific and International Bar.

ACME is responsible for creating some of Australia’s most acclaimed hospitality venues including The Grounds of Alexandria, The Grounds of the City,

Merivale’s Fred’s and Charlie Parker’s, Archie Rose Distilling Co, The Incinerator and Barbetta.
