Jonathan Saunders is a New York-based Scottish designer, known for his unique use of color, pattern and modernist design - most significantly through his eponymous line.
Saunders grew up in Glasgow where he studied Product Design at Glasgow School of Art before pursuing his Masters in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins. In 2003, he launched his own luxury womenswear and menswear brand. Saunders has also consulted for and directed brands including Alexander McQueen, Pucci, Chloé, Tiffany and Diane Von Furstenberg to name a few.
In 2019 Jonathan returned to his first passion of furniture and product design, bringing a combined knowledge of color and design to a collection of furniture while also working with interior designers and clients around the world. In 2021 he extended the line to include homeware and knitwear. The Saunders collection is sold directly through saundersstudio.com, as well as in key wholesale partners globally, launching exclusively on MATCHESFASHION before expanding to other retailers.
The Saunders’ brand aims to create a world of expressive design that blurs the lines between genres of product. It offers curated releases that celebrate craftsmanship, innovation and imagination.
